This Shiraz was born from a shared passion for the wines and vineyards of South Australia. The ancient soils and moderate climate create rich and full-bodied wines that are incredibly satisfying. This new released wine delivers a lifted and aromatic nose displays bright red-berried fruit, plums and sweet spice with a hint of savoury oak. The palate is generous and expansive with ripe dark berry and cassis flavours framed by soft tannins.
Label Story:
The two trees of valinor mentioned in the mythopoeia novel by J.R.R Tolkien is Telperion and Laurelin, which bought light to Valinor. Since they have been wrecked by Ungoliant, the last flower of Telperion and the last fruit of Laurelin created the moon and the sun respectively.
